CONTEST ALERT!!! Miss Snark's First Victim Secret Agent contest starts in less than 1 hour (EST)

Hi all!

So sorry for the rush alert on this (forgot about it over the weekend!), but, if you're interested, Miss Snark's First Victim is back with her first Secret Agent contest of the year . . . and email submissions start at 12 noon (EST). The rules are to submit the first 250 words of a COMPLETED manuscript. Here's the link to find out the rest of the details! Good luck!!

Ooh, I forgot to mention: this month's entries for the Secret Agent contest calls for MIDDLE GRADE FICTION, all genres, & YOUNG ADULT FICTION, all genres! Whoo-Hoo!

I'll be back later today with an official New Year's greeting . . . and more news about other contests going on around the blogosphere and elsewhere (where you can win MONEY as well as critiques!)

See you all later! :)

Thanks Crystal! I don't write MG or YA, but good luck to all the other writers!

Cool! Thanks for the link. I don't write YA or MG, but I am excited to see if there are other comps out there to enter.

I am so ready to query that I skipped this one. Did you enter? I will be sure and find yours, if you did. I love your writing my friend. You will be published one day. :-)

I'll be back to check out the other contests. :0)

I forgot to thank you for the comment made on Christopher's birthday yesterday. I pasted them into a word doc and he plans on framing them and putting them on his wall. Plus I put them all into a folder. : )

Hilary & Tamika--Yes, GOOD LUCK to everyone who entered!

Tabitha--I'll be posting later tonight (or by tomorrow morning) on some other writer competitions out there (there are at least 4 legitimate ones I know of).

Robyn--Yep, I made it into the Secret Agent contest, just barely. Thanks so much for the encouragement! And what a great idea for framing Christopher's birthday wishes--may this be the year for his miracle! God bless!

Crystal--Best wishes to everyone who enters the contest! I don't have anything that long yet. I sure would like to see a picture book contest!

I have an award over at my blog, for you. I appreciate you being a reader of my blog and I enjoy reading your blog. I put a link in to your blog. :)

You know, Sharon, I'd like to see a picture book contest, too. That's something you really don't see much of. The only ones I can think of are the Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories contest in July and the Lee and Low New Voices contest.

Thanks so much for the award, and for posting a link to my blog! One of my New Year's resolutions is to start posting my awards . . . I've really been slack in that area, and I'd hate for people to think I didn't appreciate them. I love awards! :)

Crystal--I know it's a lot of work to give awards, you don't have to do any of that for this award. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated you. :)
